Discover My Journey of Writing for Healing
The Heart Behind The Words

Lea Riley writes from the in-between places—the quiet ache after loss, the tension between faith and doubt, and the sacred ground where healing begins. Her journey was never one she planned. After the sudden and unresolved death of her husband, Lea’s life fractured in every direction. Grief didn’t knock gently—it leveled everything. What followed was a slow, soul-stripping unraveling of certainty, identity, and belief.

But in the silence that remained, something unexpected emerged: a voice. Her own.

Through her books, Lea offers more than just words. She offers companionship. Her writing is part memoir, part reflection, part guided sanctuary—a safe space for readers who are tired of pretending, who are done with spiritual clichés, and who long for an honest, heart-deep encounter with something real.

She doesn’t write from a mountaintop; she writes from the valley—where faith is messy, healing is nonlinear, and the divine often feels just out of reach. And yet, she still believes in the quiet miracle of beginning again.

Outside the page, Lea is the founder of Angels Touch Body Wellness and Beyond Us in Conway, Arkansas. As a massage therapist, psychic, and intuitive energy practitioner, her hands know how to hold pain without trying to fix it, and her presence invites others to remember their own inner wisdom.
What Guides My Writing
In 2013, my life shattered. Within six months I went from a family of five to a family of two—my daughter left for the Air Force, my eldest son went to college, and my husband of 22 years died suddenly. I was devastated—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Alone with my 9-year-old son, I began to question everything I thought I knew about faith, purpose, and why I was still here.

That season of loss opened a door I never expected. I was guided to energy work, where I began to release the grief I carried and reconnect mind, body, and spirit. This path awakened abilities I had ignored all my life—the capacity to sense, to know, to channel. What I once dismissed as imagination revealed itself as connection: a way to receive messages, hold sacred space, and help others access healing.

Writing became both my lifeline and my offering. It was how I processed grief and how I gave voice to what others were too weary to speak. Over time, I came to see that the same Source guiding my words was also guiding me in intuitive healing and spirit communication. These two callings are woven together: writing to heal my own soul and offering messages to help others find hope, peace, and direction on their path.

My passion comes from this place: the belief that every story carries medicine, every voice holds power, and healing begins when we dare to tell the truth. My deepest joy is to know that through words, presence, or spirit connection, I can offer others what was once offered to me—light in the dark and the courage to begin again.
